Fleece to Loom Studio

Our Fleece to Loom Studio at Sacred Acres Alpaca Farm is a welcoming, hands-on creative space designed for fiber artists of all experience levels.

The studio is organized into dedicated work zones that support the journey from raw fleece to finished fiber creations.

Our studio zones and equipment include:

• Fiber Preparation Zone: A 4' × 5' skirting table, swing picker, and drum carder for cleaning, sorting, and preparing fleece.

• Spinning Zone: Ashford and Louet spinning wheels and accessories for transforming prepared fiber into yarn.

• Weaving Zone: Floor looms, including our 36" LeClerc Fanny and 24" Jack loom, for creating woven textiles.

• Felting Zone: A Gentle Roller felting machine and worktables for wet-felting projects.

• Creative Work Zone: Dedicated tables for fiber preparation, demonstrations, workshops, and individual projects.

With convenient access to water, work surfaces, and specialized equipment, the studio accommodates independent projects, guided instruction, and collaborative learning.
